Well, we gave in and put it up for free. Then the prices of software came down to 1/3 of what they had been. There was, and is, not enough profit margin in chess software to support a CCR, and I really doubt that there are enough people willing to pay $25 or more a year for the privilege. The CCC has also negated much of the need for a CCR because here gratification is immediate. Steve (ICD/Your Move)
