The "problem" was something well outside of the tournament organization. This "+censor" issue has been public knowledge for 3 months. It would have been easy for Amir to say "Hey, I am paired against Crafty, but apparently Bob has forgotten that he censored me, can someone talk to him?" IE this wasn't a sudden newsflash at 10:30 this morning. It has been in place for 90 days or more.
