Can they?  Moderator posts have been removed at the request of CCC members
because they were offensive.  Moderator posts are no more immune than any other.

Please cite an instance of this.  Quite frankly, criticism of the moderators is
allowed to stand which would not be allowed were it an ordinary poster (in my
opinion).

Three persons who think it is lame hardly counts as universal condemnation.
Unless you count the added weight of all the others who objected.  I would not
say that it was universal, but darn close to it.
