I would love to both have and to read about intellectual discussions with Chris.
But like you said above, people are more important than ideas. And in the case
of CCC like in the case of the rest of society, the well being of many
individuals outweights the well being of one disruptive individuals.

It is like having a 15 year old daughter who you want to relate to, but she is
more interested in rebeling than she is in communicating.

When Chris was abusive to people this last year, the moderators had a LOT of
discusions on how to keep the group happy, but at the same time keep Chris
around. And quite frankly, we came to the conclusion that Chris does not want to
be around, except to snip at people. We have been more tolerant (to many
people's annoyance) to Chris than we should have been and still he attacks
people (you should go read the posts concerning the recent ICC tournament where
he attacked many people there and here for no apparent reason).

I think the bottom line comes down to Chris wanting CCC to revolve around his
ideas of how it should be and if it isn't, then he is more interested in
criticizing it than being a part of it and making it better. If he thinks it is
such a "fool's forum", why does he bother to come over and disrupt it? Why even
bother? I don't get it and doubt I ever will.
