Have you tried: go to the start-menu, chooese the DOS-prompt and exit the Win -catalog, then install d: c: I tried it now and 10 seconds later it was installed. Remember to play in pure DOS otherwise you can´t use any hash-tables at all. If you don´t have CD-drivers under DOS you can use the start-disc that comes with your computer it supports the CD. McP8 checks the CD from time to time, before you start it in real DOS (with no CD) start in WIN-DOS and check the CD, after that you can reboot and start in pure DOS. Bertil
