As I recall the Roma in an Exclusive board (wood with Auto Sensory) was around
£1000-£1200 i.e. $1500+.  Amazing!

I think it's the memory management that is the problem with the Palm - it's hard
to quickly access >65 k.  I guess Richard will be waiting to see the response to
the latest version before investing too much effort into further development.
