Alvaro,

I just wanted to let you know that I agree with both the points you
have here.  :)

1.  I think there can be a "plateau".  I have experienced that and
have taken breaks, then returned to futher improve, however, there
may be a point (I might be at it, I hope not) where I no longer
can improve.  :)

2.  The peter principal.  Can I reach my level of incompetence sooner?
Yes, I agree that computer chess may also help me get there (or I may
already be there).  I play 30' games mostly, this may be inhibiting
me if I ever play 40/2 tournaments again.  :)

Just my thoughts.
