40 a4 e5 41 Rf6+ Nc6 42 Kd2 is equal. Nimzo played
40 Rf6 winning a pawn. But the f-pawn got running down
the board threatening to become a girl...

However it seems not to be lost yet (Hiarcs says 0.00).

Now 45 Ne4 would have been interesting: 45... Rb1+
46 Ke2 Re1+ 47 Kxf2 Rxe4. Hm, R + 2P vs R + N.
But 45 Na4 has been played.

[D]5R2/8/8/2N1k3/1nP5/1P6/2r2p2/3K4 w - - 0 1

Here Nimzo plays 51 Rf3 which is apparently losing.
(The black king now finds his way to the f-pawn).
Hiarcs recommends 51 Rf7 Ra2 52 Rf3 Kd4 53 Ne6+
Ke4 54 Ng5+ which looks convincing to me.

A poor endgame performance by Nimzo. Other opinions?
