Yes, I like the high-end too, but a quick look at the top programs shows that bitmaps are not necessary for a strong chess program. So, all things being equal, I would like to run on the high-end processors and the "blender" processors too. =) It's possible that the RISC chips in Windows CE devices are superscalar, but I doubt it for some reason. As for the 68000, this is probably the chip that interests me at the post. I'm currently working with a friend to make a commercial chess program for the Palm. (Although I'm sure Lang's program will be much stronger...) -Tom
