Actually, you had more respect from me before you wrote this message (and specifically your last paragraph). No person here should be considered special and deserving of special treatment. All of us agreed when signing up (including you, including me) to not post off topic here. All of us here agreed when signing up that moderator's decisions are final. The message sent to you informing you of that decision was not disrespectful. It was factual. It was based on an off topic subject that has historically created problems here in the past. If you perceived it to be disrespectful due to some quantity of work you have done in the chess world or your special relationship with Bobby Fischer, then that is a mistake on your part. Most of the posters here have had an off topic post deleted at one time or another. That is why it is called a moderated forum. KarinsDad PS. I consider myself to be a computer guy who dabbles in chess, and a chess guy who dabbles in computers, just depending on which day it is. But even on a day when I consider myself to be a chess guy, I would still regard discussions on Fischer here (and only here) to be extremely off topic merely due to the large amount of controversy and bad feelings that this topic has generated here in the past; let alone that it is off topic in general. > >bobby ang
