Commercial programs have less severe problems but they are problems none the
less.  I chose Winboard here because so many people praised its interface.

You really believe that Fritz 6's interface is so good, that improvement
wouldn't help sales?  Chess programs need such a simple interface compared to
other types of programs, it's quite impossible to make the interface too
convoluted.

I finished _programming and testing_.  In the commercial world that's not the
same as having program appear on the market.  And even if it was on the market I
still couldn't discuss specifics.
