I have just tried two of my SMP compliant programs: Deep Junior 6.0 and Crafty 17.7 (Fritz 6 GUI). DJ found the solution in 7 min 15 seconds, while Crafty was faster, it took "him" about 4 min. Here's Crafty's analysis (I forgot to clip DJ's analysis :(( New position 1NQ5/k1p1p3/7p/pP2P1P1/2P5/2pq4/1n6/6K1 w - - 0 1 Analysis by Crafty 17.07 P4: 1.gxh6 Qxc4 = (-0.15) Depth: 1/2 00:00:00 1.Qxc7+ = (0.25) Depth: 1/2 00:00:00 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Nc6 hxg5 3.Qxa5+ ² (0.62) Depth: 1/2 00:00:00 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Nd7 hxg5 3.Qxa5+ ² (0.47) Depth: 2/10 00:00:00 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Nd7 Qe3+ 3.Kf1 hxg5 4.Qxa5+ ² (0.42) Depth: 3/14 00:00:00 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Nd7 Qe3+ 3.Kf1 Qf3+ 4.Kg1 Qe3+ = (0.00) Depth: 4/14 00:00:00 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Nd7 Qe3+ 3.Kf1 Qf3+ 4.Kg1 Qe3+ = (0.00) Depth: 5/17 00:00:00 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Nd7 Qe3+ 3.Kf1 Qf3+ 4.Kg1 Qe3+ = (0.00) Depth: 6/17 00:00:00 228kN 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Qc6+ Kxb8 3.Qb6+ Ka8 4.Qc6+ Ka7 5.Qc7+ Ka8 6.Qc8+ Ka7 7.Qc7+ = (0.00) Depth: 7/17 00:00:03 1123kN 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Qc6+ Kxb8 3.Qb6+ Ka8 4.Qc6+ Ka7 5.Qc7+ Ka8 6.Qc8+ Ka7 7.Qc7+ = (0.00) Depth: 8/17 00:00:05 2126kN 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Qc6+ Kxb8 3.Qb6+ Ka8 4.Qc6+ Ka7 5.Qc7+ Ka8 6.Qc8+ Ka7 7.Qc7+ = (0.00) Depth: 9/17 00:00:11 4413kN 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Qc6+ Kxb8 3.Qb6+ Ka8 4.Qc6+ Ka7 5.Qc7+ Ka8 6.Qc8+ Ka7 7.Qc7+ = (0.00) Depth: 10/19 00:00:29 11610kN 1.Qxc7+ Ka8 2.Qc6+ Kxb8 3.Qb6+ Ka8 4.Qc6+ Ka7 5.Qc7+ Ka8 6.Qc8+ Ka7 7.Qc7+ = (0.00) Depth: 11/21 00:01:18 31369kN 1.b6+ ² (0.55) Depth: 11/21 00:04:34 45414kN 1.b6+ Kxb6 2.Nd7+ Kc6 3.Qa6+ Kxd7 4.e6+ Ke8 5.Qa8+ Qd8 6.g6 Qxa8 7.g7 Qf3 8.g8Q+ Qf8 9.Qg2 Qf1+ 10.Kxf1 Kf8 11.Qf3+ Kg8 12.Qxc3 +- (4.37) Depth: 11/21 00:04:38 112349kN 1.b6+ Kxb6 2.Nd7+ Kc6 3.Qa6+ Kxd7 4.e6+ Ke8 5.Qa8+ Qd8 6.g6 Qxa8 7.g7 Qf3 8.g8Q+ Qf8 9.Qg2 Qf1+ 10.Kxf1 Kf8 11.Qf3+ Kg8 12.Qxc3 +- (4.77) Depth: 12/25 00:04:42 113687kN (Vidanovic, Naissus 14.02.2000) *** Djordje
