Interesting also from this site is an article from another computer smart GM, Koshavilli, who won Aegon '97, but who recently lost a 40/2 game to Fritz. Despite the many weaknesses of computers, it does not appear such an easy task to dictate the play in such a way as to take the machine out of its game. It can happen and when it does the machine can look out classed, yet computers excel at the very thing that chess authors have said is 90% of the game, tactics.
