You could repartition part of your disc with another unused drive letter, say a 1/4 of the remaining disc capacity. Then install Shredder to this new partition. The installation rouitine will only see the capacity of this drive. Hope you solve your problem soon. Shredder4 runs well under NT4 (SP3). Keith
