One thing that made me fail, was that I was mixing up which was the current depth. It's increased in the main-loop (iterative search) and then decreased in the inner search. Thanks for your answers, I picked the triangular-approach as most programs I've seen do. Works fine now. Best regards, Per a.k.a. Epor@ICC
