I came across a neat position long ago, before my internet days, that I wish I could find and share with the gang here. In it white sacrificed two pawns and a bishop (all forced) and the tradeoff was something that computers would not like. In turn for the material black's king and rook were totally blocked on the kingside. The winning plan for white was to march his king over to the queenside and force a passer. Maybe I'll search through my old "en passant" mags as I think it was in one of those.
