If I'd consider the GUI too it can only be flipping a coin for choosing between
Shredder and Junior. Without considering the GUI there is no favourite for me.
I once preferred MChessPro but the other 4 programs have improved a lot in the
last time and on my Athlon there is FAT32 so that I cannot use MCP on that
machine and have to use it on the slow K6-200.

Yes and no. Often yes, but occasionally Hiarcs leaves the own king in an open
lost position...
