Subject: Would the authors of each program tell us what processor to use?

I tried to ask this in an earlier post and while some good comments
were made, the question is still begging for an answer!

So now I ask the program's authors....what processor is the best
one IN YOUR OPINION, to run your program?  Surely the chess author's
would have a very good feel for this question!
