We have lots of chess playing programs, but very few sensible tournament manger
programs that are freely available in source form. I would like to see some
nice and easy to use programs become available. To assist in that effort, I
have gathered some source code archives that perform related tasks. Perhaps if
it is interesting enough to someone, they can look this goo over and make a
handy-dandy open source tournament management utility. Eventually, I would like
to create a server that chess programs connect to (perhaps via Winboard) and
which will completely automate a tournament.
