In fact, I think that if you found a way to run a regular Pentium at 450MHz, it would also be as fast as a 550MHz PIII. The "catch," of course, is that you can get an 800MHz PIII, whereas you'll have a hard time finding a K6-3 that runs faster than 450MHz. -Tom
