While I doubt it too, it is remotely possible that a little "hindsight"
convinced him that maybe this thing was stronger than he expected?  At game/60
a computer is a terrible opponent.

The main problem here is simply organizer incompetence.  Hopefully they will
learn for the next event, if there is one.  But another lesson is to obtain
advice from folks that know what is going on.  This was predictable, and
managable.  _IF_ the right people had been consulted _before_ rather than
_after_ the thing fell apart.
