[D]1knB4/8/7p/4R3/7K/8/3r4/7B w - - 0 1 White to move. Win. Although the programs don't "see" the solution (despite the +- assessment), you should be able to solve it. (i.e. Hiarcs is tossing out the correct moves - the first ones at least). Nevertheless you will have the opportunity to think a second too... Martin P.S. Btw, I find it somewhat irritating that in a position like, say, wKg1, Bf1, Re1, bKg7, Rf7, Pe6 the programs refuse to take the black pawn. Of course this is due to the Tablebases: they see that the remaining endgame is drawn but assess the position above as better for white... Players without the knowledge of the technicalities behind might wonder why their engine doesn't play Rxe6. Not very user friendly, imho.
