But 2. Kxh7 improves white's position a lot. :) I think there is no way to
_force_ mate with only 1 bishop and one knight on the board. Bruce's position
comes closest (with the knight on g5 so the queen must be captured with the
bishop), but it is debatable whether or not that position could ever be forced.
