Since Junior is written in C++, Amir & Co. could target any processor. I suspect that if you put it on one of those COMPAQ alpha machines with 32 processors [since you can get NT for it and also MS VC++ 6.0 for Alpha is available he could probably just recompile], it would be just about unbeatable. He might even get in touch with COMPAQ and see if they would like to sponsor him for the World Computer Chess Championship. I think that setup would pound the stuffings out of anything else that has been competing the last couple years. Might even go undefeated and undrawn if the 21464 is available by then. I don't know if Deep Junior is for sale. Perhaps Amir can clarify. I am also curious about Shay's role. Is he a second programmer? Does he work on certain facets like the opening book or???
