I don't know if Junior6a is overrated or not but I also am more impressed
with results which are posted with game moves, hardware, settings, time
controls etc. rather than just a blanket statement that a particular
program is having a disappointing result at one site or another. In that
regard the recent tournament held by Enrique, won impressively by J6a,
and the Paderborn tourney a couple weeks ago where J6a finished 2d behind
Shredder, both undefeated, seem far more convincing evidence of J6a's
playing strength.
I have J6a (also F6a, N7.32 and H7.32). I don't know which is strongest
and have no reason to favor one over the other, but based on the recent
tournaments I mentioned I must doubt that J6a is less strong than the others.
