Subject: Some suggestions for the next kasparovchess grandprix

First of all, it was the correct decision to forfeit junior in the game against
Addams. I completely agree with what kasparovchess website has to say about
this. It was their fault, but it's completely bogus to say that was a severe
discrimination or conspiracy against junior. I also read arguments about how
late junior was. Programmer of junior said it was half an hour, kasparovchess
representative said it was over 2 hours. Still not clear who was telling the
truth.
The next time, junior should be forfeited if it's late 30 min for g/60. That's
how they do it in real tournaments. It's bogus to think that a computer program
should delay the game at the expense of a player. It's like being late for a
college interview, because you're stuck in traffic, not a good excuse. Adddams
was probably also mad, because he wanted to win a game also. He is about 200
points stronger. Kasparov would've been allowed to play, because Addams
wouldn't mind. And Kasparov did not disconnect like that. It wasn't for the
junior team to check their equipment, they were also negligent. Junior got more
than enough special treatment to play in such a gm tournaments.
To stop such discrimination, it would be a good idea to include a couple of
other top programs in the next tournaments. And also make it 32 participants in
all.

It's a great tournament and i don't understand why this forum is so bitter.
Chess programs are made so that people could play them. The best way to test
their strengths is to let them play in chess tournaments. I don't see any
reason for people in this forum or for programmers of junior to be arrogant or
rude about this event. I hope this grand prix will continue.

Another suggestion is to let the players play more than 2 games in 1/4, 1/2 and
the finals, just like in the fide knock out. And about 4 spots should be for
computers.
