Like you I believe there is a win for white but whenever I think I've found a
forcing sequence, Black seems to slip out of the danger. I'm trying different
sequences of waiting moves with the white king and rook in order to place the
black queen in an awkward position. Computers are not much help here as
they always want to force the draw for white.

I'm not sure what I said to offend you. You could ask here or through email
if that is better, about what phrase you thought was aggressive. By aggressive
I'm guessing you mean rude or mean? My post was not meant to be mean to you.
As far as your English, I'm envious of all the people here, like yourself,
who communicate in a language you were not raised on. And if you find a solution
to white winning this I'll be even more envious :)
