Didzis gets good results. other people have also good results. Eric Gallula, Kurt Utzinger e.g. or others. they do post in forums. why don't you see them? Why don't you read their posts ??? you ignore their posts and post here: only thorsten has good results. thats a lie or you are blind. shall i give you their email adress ? so you can ask them ??? or what is the problem harald ? > When I played Tal2 it was wrong, tal 2 has bugs. it is weaker - yes. > Tal2.50 was >wrong, this was for download only for programmers. the engine itself is broken. > Tal2.03 with style2.03 was wrong, style 2.03 ?? what do you mean with 2.03 style ? the default style ? something else ? tal 2.03 with default style is right. > always excuses. which excuse ? you used the right version this time. you used the right style this time. but now you did not give shredder the right hardware. no excuses for cstal harald. you have prejudices harald. I wait for the excuse >now when everything is right now, I used a fast machine for Tal, as fast as >Thorsten's, used the "right" version, but still Tal lost against a much slower >Shredder. right . you used 2 times or 2.6 times slower for shredder. this was wrong. joern gronemann uses a machine that is also 2 times slower for cstal, not for the others. thats also wrong. therefore he gets weaker results. i don't see that cstal competed weak against shredder4. IMO it did a good job. of course shredder won. but cstal played good IMO. look into the games and the results. From the games i would say there is not so much difference between tal and shredder. shredder beats tal, no excuse, but this does not tell us about how tal plays against other programs. also the games were good. shredder is world-champion, what do you expect to happen. only ONE program was able to stand shredder4: chess tiger. now junior6a also. so - when only 1 or 2 prg's stand shredder4, why is it a bad news that cstal loses too ??? >And read yourself, now Thorsten again says this match means nothing, Nonsens. i do not say it means nothing. you again prejudice harald. i say it would be better to use euqual hardware. > I >should play Shredder on the same fast machine as Tal. Nonsense. why is it nonsense to test on equal hardware ? > As if Tal would >play better against a faster (=stronger) Shredder... >Judge yourself. the problem is you cannot measure an elo by this. you can, but it will not be very precise. >I don't see it a BIT weaker. Clearly weaker, approx. strength of the amateurs. pah - play the amateurs against shredder and see what happens. >Again: I always had some disappointing games and results and except for Thorsten >I have not seen many other people getting similar results to Thorsten's. dizis, eric, kurt and others too.
