For sum timeI've been looking for the elusive and ever expensive Bobby Fischer's
My 60 Memorable Games. I've been looking everywhere and when I did find it the
seller was asking anywhere from $200.00-500.00. The other day I found it on
ebay being auctioned off and the current price is 130.00 and going up with 2
days left to climb. Getting to my story--I was driving along the other day and
noticed this little book store and thought I'd venture in and see what they had
for chess books.(seems like I've been collecting a lot of books lately-like it's
a bug or something) I ask the lady at the counter if she had any chess books and
she thought she had a couple. She led me to the very back of the store where no
one would ever look for a chess book or even know where to find one for there
seem to be no rhyme or reason for the placement of books. At any rate I
couldn't believe what was staring me in the face but,"My 60" was the only chess
book she had. Unbelievable--then I proceeded to the counter and payed the grand
total of $3.50. Just thought I'd share my excitement.
