I never said one should wait for the truth to fall on his lap. Please don't interpret meanings from my words. that don't exist. Indeed, the time one spends insulting people without foundation can be better spent finding out more about what happened. Most of us here aren't in any position to do anything about it anyway, which is all the more reason why we should refrain from giving unqualified strong opinions. Of course you don't need to tell me that sport and science are different. What happened the other day has little to do with sport anyway. >By the way, as a scientist, I am fully prepared to swallow my statements if the >future facts clearly and unambiguosly contradict me. Me too. I suppose you also understand that you should not publish a paper saying you discovered cold fusion when the experiment you performed was faulty. >Calling someone "cobarde" in spanish might have been the worst possible thing in >the 16th century, but today things have changed and I don't consider it to be >even insulting. You must be from a different area of Spain than the people I know. But this is irrelevant, I guess, because the language of this forum is English and everything that was said was done in English. Anyway, this is becoming silly. I think everyone agress that something ought to be done. I don't think it's unusual to say that laying the blame on someone prematurely is a mistake. This is what my original post was about. I don't even know why we're arguing. Good luck, Mike.
