You might have got a bad version of the source - I accidentally put the wrong version up earlier today or last night and I replaced it soon enough, but you might have been unlucky. Try the new source code from the site now. > Does it produce some sort of logfiles? You can export the games to pgn if you like, but I'm not too interested in the games themselves. Basically, I just want to know from someone who is good at chess, what mistakes the program makes. i.e. does it tend to do stupid things with pawns, or maybe it moves pieces too far forward, or it attacks the wrong side, or castles too late/early etc..... I also need to know if it makes any mistakes from the opening book so that I can delete bad lines. I'll also compile a windows binary soon if anyone is interested. Thanks, Colin
