I have been playing on (C) accounts for about 3 years now on ICC and personally its their right to nopplay (C). Each has their own reason and it is justified, L give u a couple scenarios. 1) Computer vs. Computer as opposed to Human vs. Computer will show different results. Programmer A might just want to see what it does verse humans, Programmer B might just want to see what it does verse other computers, some mix it both ways. 2)A Crafty vs. Crafty is futile for development or say a thousand RebelTiger clones verse crafty cause they doin't really yield much insight into the programs progress. Hard to pinpoint problem areas. 3) Some just overplay the (C) accounts to death ... sometimes barging in on a strong human playing a small series which usually is of more interest to the programmer. I hope u get my proverbial drift :>)
