Some time behind I read an article about man+machine, but I lost the address of the site. Summarizing, the author of the article, ELO=1900, played against some GMs and it reached the conclusion that he could help the computer and to increase the strong of the machine. Some considerations: 1. If I am not deceived, the experiences were made the about 3 years ago. 2. I don't remember the program and the used hardware. 3. I think control time was 40/2. 4. Certainly he should have been prepared for this type of game. I believe that now a player with a reasonable understanding of chess, with the aid of a program and a reasonable hardware, can, with some training, to improve program's strong for games with control time 40/2.
