Go up one level in this thread

According to the info ChessBase sent me, the upgrade:

"contains a stronger engine, fixes the analysis bug and adds time controls to
the handicap/sparring/friend and rated game levels."

I installed the upgrade only a day after I received the program. I don't know
what the analysis bug was. I don't doubt that the new engine is stronger, but
by an odd coincidence, my first and so far only win against the full-strength
program came after I upgraded. I'm sure the orginal version was strong enough
for most people. Any increase in strength would probably show up only against
other programs and GMs.

Anyway it is a great program. By all means get the upgrade.
