I'm sure Xie Jun is taking this match very seriously and preparing daily with a team on a good strategy vs the formidable computer opponent. I still believe that despite a computer programs many shortcomings that chess is largley a tactical game where of course the computer weighs in heavily. I predict a Junior victory despite my belief that Xie Jun is completely aware of the "anticomputer" stuff. I do not believe that finding out the shortcomings of a computer is all that difficult, especially for a GM. Knowing an opponents weakness will always come in handy, but how often will a position present itself over the board where the GM steers the game down an anticomputer road? I'm assuming thses are 40/2 games. Are they?
