With more and more programs (both commercial and amateur) becoming active on the servers, it would be nice if programmers could get their programs to do a couple of things: 1. Kibitz program identity at start of each game. 2. Set first line of finger notes to show program name and version (other details might be nice here too: hash table size, book size etc). This was first done by crafty I think, I have been doing it with LambChop for a while too. It is a nice feature and avoids alot of mystery and needless questions. Also, it helps prevent cheating!
