There is no questions that any of these programs (Deep Junior 6.0 Fritz 6.0 Shredder 4.0 Nimzo 2000 and Rebel 10) can easily beat Xie Jun, which is only rated 2545 by FIDE; Plus her style is just perfect to pit her against any of these computer Chess Programs. I don't believe that she will change her style in just two weeks and adjust to the Anticomputer Style, and even if she does decides to play positionally instead of tactically, DJ has sufficient positional knowledge to beat even a Great GM like Adams, which is among the 10 best in the world. Just remember that Anand develops his Anticomputer style over the las 10 years and Rebel managed to draw against him in tournament regulation time two years ago. Kasparovchess Website never mentioned the Quad Mhz capacity of Deep Junior 6.0 in the Grand Prix last week. I have this information to share with all of you Chess Computer Enthusiasts. Last week my friend and I tested Deep Junior 6.0 using his dual Intel Pentium 500 Mhz against my Junior 6.0 using a single AMD ATHLON at 800 Mhz, we were eager to know how much better Deep Junior 6.0 really is versus the Simple Junior 6.0. Now, if the asumption that DJ is 1.8 stronger than Junior 6.0 than it was logical to pit his Dual Pentium III 500 against my ATHLON 800 Mhz. After 10 games of 1 hour per game each, Junior 6.0 beat Deep Junior 6.0 by a small margin 0f 5.5 to 4.5 games. In conclusion if you can't afford to buy a dual Processor for Deep Junior, then simply buy the fastest and most economical computer available in the market, and you will get the same performance, unless you decide to use the same Mhz capacity for the Dual Processors as for the single processor, then the difference is enormous.
