For a long time my Kasparov Corona Chess Computer refused to register some of the moves I played, and I assumed that it was something to do with the reed switches underneath each square, even trying to de-magnitise them, but to no avail. A couple of years later, after purchasing my Mephisto Magellen I tried playing a game on the Corona, using my Magellan pieces. Perfect !! It turns out that the magnets in the original supplied pieces were not strong enough, or had become de-magnetised. This also fixed an old Conchess board with the same problem. :) Hope this helps anyone else in a similar fix... Regards Trefor.
