Hi fellow CCC-ers I played a blitz game on FICS and came in this lost position. Analyzing afterwards supported by Fritz I found out Fritz gave the following evaluation: OhWellOkay - Jeroen [D]3R4/p7/1pb1k3/4r2p/4p1p1/2P3P1/PP3P1P/4R1K1 b - - 0 42 Analysis by Fritz 6: 1. = (0.00): 42...Kf5 2. +- (2.22): 42...Bd5 43.b3 Ke7 44.Rh8 Bf7 45.Rh6 Kf8 46.Rd6 Rd5 47.Rxd5 3. +- (2.25): 42...a5 43.Red1 Ke7 4. +- (2.41): 42...Ke7 43.Rc8 Kd7 44.Rh8 Rd5 45.Rh7+ Kc8 46.Rxa7 Rd2 47.b3 Of course after playing Kf5, which I actually did, the assessment is OhWellOkay - Jeroen 3R4/p7/1pb5/4rk1p/4p1p1/2P3P1/PP3P1P/4R1K1 w - - 0 42 Analysis by Fritz 6: 1. +- (2.31): 43.Red1 Re6 44.Rh8 Kg6 45.h3 gxh3 2. +- (2.16): 43.h3 gxh3 44.Kh2 Rb5 45.b4 Kg4 46.Rg8+ Kf3 47.Rf8+ Kg4 3. +- (2.16): 43.h4 gxh3 4. +- (2.16): 43.Kf1 a6 44.Rf8+ Kg6 45.Rb8 Re6 46.c4 Ba4 47.b3 Bd7 Why does Fritz give the 0.00 evaluation without a further suggested line and switches to normal evaluation after playing 42...Kf5? Any ideas, or is this old stuff? Thanks for your reactions.
