Above instead of 5.d6 where does the straight forward Kxh3 end up?

One sample line is
1... Kf5 2. c4 dxc4 3. d5 Bf1 4. Bh8 Be2 5. Kxh3 Bxf3 6. Kg3 Bxd5 7. Kf2
Ke4 8. Ke2 and it looks like the king makes it back. But maybe something else is
better for black?
