With the position White King on a1 and white rook on a4 Black pawns on a3 and b3. Black King on c3 and Black knight on c4. My opponent and I thought that black could have won with 1. ... b2+ 2. Ka2 Nd2 where 3. Rxa3+ would fail to Kc2 winning. But 3. Rb4!! draws. Fritz 5.01 takes a remarkably long time to realize that this is a draw. After 3 minutes on a Pentium III 450 mhz it still thinks 1. .... Kd3 2. Rb4 Kc3 3. Ra3 repeating the position but Fritz still thinks -+ with a score of -1.59
