With only material you have an extremely stupid program. It will problably play
openingmoves like 1 a3 ... 2 a4 and so on.

However with a very little adjustment it will play a decent game. Use a piece
square table, to let it see basic stuff like knights on edges are no good, pawns
in centre are good, development is good, many oppo pieces on my half of the
board is bad.

And your programs ELO will rise from 1400 to 2000. My guess. I think it works
best for Blits tc's.
