OK, I understand now... I must substitute my own assigned "username" and "password" into the link format below (not just use it as-is): http://username:password@www.icdchess.com/ccc/filter.html Then drag & drop the icon from the IE5 Address window into Links, and it works OK. One click and I'm in. However my prior reads are NOT indicated by a change in boldness of the headers, as they are if I enter via the old method. That's important, so I won't use the one-click method (unless there is a way to correct that problem). Tom
