If GK decided to engage in psychological warfare against DB, then I would suggest that it wasn't a very sensible thing to do. No amount of antics (short of pulling the plug out :) ) are going to change the way a computer plays. In Daniel King's book about the match, he seems to imply that GK engaged in psychological warfare against himself (or maybe that's reading too much between the lines!). At the very least, he dwelled on game 2 too much - probably to the detriment of his preparation and play in other games. -g
