I believe cheating among *registered* players at ICC is less than it would be at any free site, because after sufficient complaint you will be investigated for computer cheating, and either labelled as a computer user or else tossed out, in which case you have lost a bit of real money. So at least some incentive exists to be an honest player. My only comment about not being interested in observing titled players is that perhaps you are not so concerned with improving your game(?). I guess I don't understand wanting to play chess, yet not being interested in watching good chess. I suppose one can play tennis and never watch a Wimbledon, but if you have a real interest in your own skills you can deeply appreciate the skills of a great player and see what you are striving toward. For major events ICC will have a GM giving live commentary on a game, where he plays out different variations right on your board and explains the plans. IMO that sort of thing is worth paying for, but that's a personal choice. If you don't care you don't care.
