Agreed..Crafty still has an edge..But Yace is superior to most of the
non-commericals..now ..I think

Agreed again..Yace Threw away many winning positions, i suspect it lacks
understanding about opposite coloured bishops, and rook pawns..

Exactly..The winboard version is merely 2 weeks old..

Yes..The current Yace018 has implemented resigning options, select citeria of -X
 evaluation over Y moves and right now it has quite a few tuning parimeters to
play with..He's a really fast programmer..

Perhaps the Chessmaster fans here who like to experiment with testign could try
playing with Yace..It's a new yet strong program with lots of room for
improvement..
