However, it was designed to address a situation that is also not ideal. At the beginning of the year, CCC was under constant "attack" by people with fake names. Trying to keep these people at bay was a full time proposition, and one way the abuse was curbed was to require real names and locations from people. I believe the policy has had a positive net effect on CCC. You started your account before we instated the policy, so you do not have to provide your real name or location to anybody. I hope this "solution" is good enough for you. -Tom
