The best I can think of is to limit the time it spends thinking, and if that's not enough, because of thinking on th opponent's time, then limit how much time it is allowed to think on the opponent's time. Example: i'm spending 30 seconds on my move, but the machine is only allowed to calculate for 5 of those 30 seconds. I don't know if that's already done, but it seems like a logical solution. Albert
