I disagree. computers play always the move that they evaluate as best. Sometimes they fail in defence if they do not see Deep enough. I disagree attack does not start earlier. Attack and defence are the two sides of the same coin. Sometimes you need to do a defensive move against a future attack that the opponent did not begin and in this case the defence start one ply earlier. Uri
