I don't think any of that is needed.  We know enough about just about anyone
here who is likely to be nominated.

Do they think clearly?  Can they reason logically?  Are they inflamatory?

Quite frankly, I think *most* of the posters here would do a good job (though
perhaps not the sort of job *I* would like best).

It's really not that difficult.  Just busy-work mostly, and even that is fairly
infrequent.  It seems to go in cycles of high/low, with new elections being a
very sharp spike upwards for some inexplicable reason.

Any perceived lack of action by the moderators is surely the fault of the
regular CCC members for not using the moderator request form.  If enough people
are offended by anything, the moderators surely will act -- even if it is
themselves that they must censor.
